Scientific research projects
The project „Rescuing the last Adriatic bottlenose dolphins“ is based on and consists of scientific research. Participating are scientists from the Veterinary and Natural Science and Mathematics faculties of the University of Zagreb who are working in conjunction with researchers from Germany, Italy, Austrija, Great Britain, New Zealand, the USA, Venezuela and the Phillipines. The scientific research consists of research about the life of sea mammals, the effects of man and possible dangers for survival in the Adriatic Sea.
The primary goal is the on-time discovery and removal of all factors which would lead to the extinction of the last bottlenose dolphins in the Adriatic Sea.
